Account Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for an Account Manager professional to join one of the leading virtual currency exchanges in the world. You will work in a dynamic, fast-growing, international company that sets standards in the industry and be part of the team that helps to grow our Asian presence, based in Singapore.


Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for providing support for Bitstamp’s products and serving as a domain expert across multiple channels
  • Participate in an on-call rotation within defined shift hours and serve as an escalation point for high priority requests or complex investigations
  • Provide white glove support to our highest priority global clients through phone, email and video calls in an articulate and empathetic manner while building long-term relationships
  • Proactively drive impactful changes across workflows and tools by working with sales, engineering, and product teams
  • Operationalize and standardize new and existing policies, processes and procedures related to the Client Services’ scope
  • Make sure all deliverables arrive in the highest quality, on time, and fulfill all client’s requirements
  • Facilitate pre and post onboarded client calls highlighting key product features and answering technical related questions
  • Prepare and present reports on client relationships to internal stakeholders
  • Act as a liaison between the client and other internal teams including Business Development, Product, and Compliance when surfacing bugs, incidents and product feedback
  • Ability to work with an international and distributed team
  • Show the highest level of professionalism both internally and externally


Required Skills and Experience: 

  • At least 3+ years experience as an account manager, customer service representative, or similar role
  • Experience with high priority clients, compliance, product support, payments, fraud, or other relevant operational domains
  • Team player, with strong time-management skills, ability to multitask, and understand the scope of work and cross-department connections
  • Empathize with clients and their ongoing support needs with a focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Fantastic communication skills in order to operate across multiple departments, stakeholders, and Institutional clients
  • Experience with different channels of support, including voice, e-mail and/or chat
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the evolving needs of a high-growth and fast paced organization
  • Willingness to travel from time to time to clients and other Bitstamp offices
  • A good understanding of cryptocurrency assets
  • Fluent in English, written and oral. Chinese language skills highly regarded
